Chitwan is a southern district of Nepal, which is one of the country's most famous tourist destinations. Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also a famous wildlife destination. Established in 1973, this park covers an area of 952.63 sq. km. 

Some animals include Bengal Tiger, One-horned rhinoceros, Asian elephants, and a wide range of bird species. While Chitwan National Park is famous for its wildlife, the surrounding area offers plenty of exciting activities, from jungle safaris to canoeing and cultural explorations.
